We had heard so much about the extraordinary culinary experiences and couldn’t wait to dig in to Executive Chef Dan Grunbeck distinct dining flavors, inspired by rocky mountain culinary heritage. With an unparalleled knack for creating unforgettably mouthwatering meals reflecting the culinary heritage of region, Chef Dan states, “The culinary team at Brush Creek Ranch aspires to impress every guest with every dish served. I want to highlight cuisine of the American West while also sprinkling in a variety of fare so our guests are always excited about their next meal. Our offerings will be spanning from the quintessential “cowboy cook-out” to luxurious multi-course dinner parties, all while maintaining an authentic and unpretentious atmosphere. Ultimately the food will connect the guest to the genuine Brush Creek Ranch experience.” Whether it was the tender smoked brisket, roasted rack of lamb or a whole smoked suckling pig, Chef Dan didn’t miss a beat, with a little bit of a ranch twist to it as our mouths watered. Our dining experiences were exemplified by a variety of unique venues. We thoroughly enjoyed the expertly prepared campfire meal under the stars at the Creekside Dinner Camp on our first night. When we thought it couldn’t get any better, we indulged in a multi-course meal in the opulent setting of the Trailhead Lodge. There is also the option of the convivial and casual atmosphere in the Chuckwagon and Saloon. Don’t forget, all of these delicious artfully prepared, fresh and hearty meals are included.
We were excited to unleash our Western spirit each morning and wake up to possibilities for our day’s adventures that seem as endless as our wide-open skies. With so much to choose from, we wanted to stock our itinerary full of remarkable experiences, from fly-fishing to shooting sports, horseback riding and more. Each of our experiences was designed to let us explore the ranch, acquire new skills, and experience our very own Western dream. All activities began at the Outfitters Barn, where the professional and experienced staff was ready to make suggestions, gear us up and guide the way on our chosen adventure. Creating lasting memories is always first and foremost for us and we tried our hand at fly-fishing in over 20 miles of private waters. With over 30,000 acres of unspoiled ranch lands, the trail adventures, archery and hiking were absolutely amazing. Horseback riding has always been a favorite family activity and Brush Creek’s program didn’t disappoint us. They blend the authentic heritage of traditional Western-style riding on their herd of genuine quarter horses and paints with a truly refined character on over 50 miles of private trails and endless open range. For the ultimate horseback experience, we enjoyed an once-in-a-lifetime cattle drive experience. Just like the true cattlemen who settled our country, this authentic 3-hour horseback experience took us through various terrains as we moved cattle to different pastures on the ranch. It was exhilarating and so much fun!

These professionals crafted memorable outings, which thrilled and delighted each one of us. Whether we envisioned reconnecting with private guides via horseback rides, skeet shooting or archery, or simply strolling together as the sun rises or sets across the Ranch, the entire experience was tailored to our preferences.
